England will admit, maybe not publicly, that Harshit Rana for Shivam Dube was not the problem

In the fourth T20 International between India and England, Harshit Rana replaced Shivam Dube as a concussion substitute after Dube was struck on the helmet. Rana's inclusion sparked controversy, with England's captain, Jos Buttler, expressing dissatisfaction, stating, "Either Shivam Dube has put on about 25 mph with the ball or Harshit's really improved his batting."

Despite the debate, India's bowling coach, Morne Morkel, clarified that the match referee approved Rana's inclusion as a "like-for-like" replacement. Morkel emphasized that the decision was within the match referee's jurisdiction, and the team's role was to provide the necessary information.

Rana's performance was instrumental in India's 15-run victory, as he took three wickets, contributing significantly to the team's success.

While the substitution raised questions, it adhered to the established protocols, and the match referee's approval indicates that the decision was within the r

ules.
