In addition to the 5G rollout, the BharatNet Project has been instrumental in strengthening telecommunications infrastructure. By December 2024, approximately 692,000 kilometers of Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) had been laid, significantly improving connectivity in rural and remote areas.
