Recovery operations have resumed at the site of the tragic midair collision between an American Airlines regional jet and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter near Washington, D.C. The accident, which occurred last week, resulted in the deaths of all 67 individuals on both aircraft. As of today, recovery teams have successfully retrieved significant portions of the plane's wreckage from the Potomac River, including one of its engines and large exterior sections.
