In an interview with Page Six at an American Heart Association event in New York City, Spencer described Markle as "the most glorious human being on the planet" and emphasized the importance of supporting her.
This defense comes in response to a Vanity Fair article that portrayed Markle as "cold and withholding" toward staffers, creating a "really awful" workplace. Spencer expressed that such negative press is "very painful as a friend," highlighting the need to stand by Markle during these challenging times.
Additionally, Spencer expressed excitement for Markle's upcoming Netflix lifestyle series, "With Love, Meghan," set to premiere on March 4. She believes the series will offer viewers an authentic and insightful look into Markle's personality.
Spencer also shared her personal connection to the American Heart Association, mentioning her father's death from a heart attack, and her intention to become more involved with the cause.
