He stated, "I don't have a cellphone or a computer," and mentioned that he relies on a satellite dish to watch television, often receiving DVDs to view his performances.
Walken's aversion to technology isn't a recent development. In a 2020 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he shared that he had never sent an email or text message and had never owned a computer or cellphone. He explained, "I think I'm right at a certain age where it just passed me by."
This tech-free lifestyle extends to his work on the Apple TV+ series "Severance." Since he doesn't have streaming capabilities, the production team sends him DVDs of the episodes. Walken noted that he hasn't seen all the episodes due to this limitation.
