Indian Navy's 'Tarini' with 2 women officers crosses International Date Line

 The Indian Navy's sailboat Tarini, with an all-women crew, recently crossed the International Date Line. This is a significant achievement as Tarini is part of the Navika Sagar Parikrama mission, an initiative aiming to highlight India's maritime capabilities, especially by promoting women in naval roles. The journey is being led by two women officers, Lieutenant Commander Vartika Joshi and Lieutenant Commander P. Swathi, along with their team of women officers. Their voyage is a part of their circumnavigation of the globe, marking a milestone for women's representation in military and maritime domains.
