Teenager Kartik lands a first, Niemann stays in the lead

In the recent World Blitz Championship held in New York, Indian teenager V. Karthik achieved a significant milestone by competing against top-tier players, including a notable game against Grandmaster Anish Giri. Although Karthik was defeated in this encounter, his participation at such a high level marks a commendable achievement in his burgeoning chess career.
